It's Over!

Now, I know that I haven't been blogging in a few, but I got a few stories to tell you. Finally, The Nutcracker has ended! It was quite an adventure for me. That's mostly the reason why I haven't been blogging in a while. I just want to say, that The Nutcracker is hard work for one little girl. It's not just rehearsing, and you're done! You have to see which costume fits you, you have to see if there would be any mistakes, while wearing the costume, and last, but certainly not least,.... remember when the show is, and what time you have to be at the theater. You usually have to be at the theater a couple hours earlier because we usually just do a quick run through. Some of the costumes can really bother you because some of them can really make you get sweaty. You also have to have make-up on. That's a really fun part. I always like putting the mascara and the blush on. It feels so weird because I never put it on to go to school or something. The mascara feels the weirdest of them all because it makes my eyes tickle a bit. Actually, it tickles a lot. It fees like somebody is taking their bare hands, and just rubbing them very, very, very lightly. As you can see, a show isn't that easy --- at least for the dancer, but it looks great when it's finally on the stage. Can't wait until next year!!!!

The Nutcracker

This is my first year of being in The Nutcracker. While doing no T.V., I got to be in The Nutcracker. Every year my dance school puts on The Nutcracker at the Count Basie Theater. I got the roll of a mini-mouse and a baker. I love the fact I have 2 parts. I also love that I get to bow at the end of the show. I can't wait until I get the roll of Claire or The Sugarplum Princess. They are the two main rolls for girls. Our dance school also does spring shows too. I was in one. It was called Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I was a little animal that Snow White meets. My dance school doesn't do the same spring show every year. I really want to know what the spring show will be this year. I can't wait!

An Apology

I am very sorry that I have not been posting. I have had such a busy schedule, that I haven't had time to write. After this short little apologizing note, I will write several posts, so you can read them. Well, now I'm off to writing my posts!

Today, I had to go to a place called after care. At my school if your parents are working late, you go to after care. I thought my friend Molly was going to be there but she wasn't. While I was there, I wrote a story. I would like to share it with you. I hope you like it:

RRIINNGG! The school bell rang and I jumped out of my seat and ran to get home. As I was coming out of school, I realized that it was already 3:30! I thought it was 3:00! I was going to miss the bus! I was scared. As I was walking down to the bus, the misty air made a cool breeze, and brushed it on me. Through the misty air, I could see two busses waiting for kids. My fingers were crossed that one of them would be my bus. When I could see the busses, neither of them were mine. The weird thing was, I was the only kid there, waiting for the bus.

I looked to the left, and five more busses were coming. I looked at the watch on my wrist. It still said 3:30. I looked at all five busses. I knew they weren't the regular busses. I was partially reluctant to go on them, but when I saw my bus driver swing the door open, I got on. There were already people on the bus. I didn't get it all. I took a seat and the bus driver asked,'' Where to?" I looked at him confused. " Um..... 26th Avenue," I replied.

Not even three seconds later we were there. I got off. There were cleaning supplies all over my lawn. It was probably my cleaning lady, Marta. She comes to my house every Friday, and it was Friday. I quick ran down the steps. For some reason, it felt like something changed. Suddenly, it occurred to me. It was a warm, sunny day. I liked it better than the gloomy weather at school. For some reason, I had a queasy feeling in my stomach. It felt like nobody was home. Not even Marta was home. Maybe I was sick. The bus driver asked me something, but I wasn't sure what. I heard sweater in the question, but I was wearing my sweater.

I went up the stairs to the bus. The ridges on the stairs sank into my feet. The door slammed shut! I looked for an exit. The back door of the bus was open, so I took my chances and sprinted out of the bus. Vroom! Five more other busses came up my driveway. Two busses were hanging out of the end of my driveway. A woman with short brown hair came out of the bus behind mine. I could tell she was chewing gum because I could smell the sweet smell of spearmint coming from her mouth. " Are you okay?" she asked. I nodded my head with confusion in my mind. The lady put her arm around my shoulder and asked," Is anyone in your house?" She looked up at my house, and then to me. I put my hands toward her shoulder pushed her arm off of mine. " I really don't know," I replied. She put her arm back around me. This time, it felt a little comforting. It felt good to have at least one person who cares about me.

The cleaning supplies were still scattered all over my lawn and the busses were still parked in the driveway. The lady walked me to the front door of my house, and rang the doorbell. No one answered it. I pushed on the door, and it opened. It was silent in the house, but suddenly, I could hear my mom saying," Shao, get up. Don't dilly-dally so we won't miss the bus." Everything turned black, and my eyes fluttered open. I was in my pajamas, in my bed, in my bedroom. My mom was sitting on my bed. It was all a dream. I heaved a big sigh. I was so happy to be home.

THE END

Did you like my story? If you did, please comment. I have a lot more to post, but this is all for now. Bye!!!

I Turn 9

I know I haven't been posting in a few days, but I'm posting now. On October 12th I turned 9 years old! I went out for dinner at a Japanese restaurant. I also got a really cool scooter that makes sparks in the back. My mom and dad also got me 4 tickets to a Miley Cyrus concert. It would be my mom, my dad and me going. The 4th ticket was for someone I would want to bring. I am bringing my really good cousin named Amanda. She is so nice. The concert is November 8th. I really like Miley Cyrus, so I can't wait until the concert! I've never seen someone perform on a stage, singing. This would be my very first concert, so I'm extra excited to see the concert! I can't wait. I wonder if I should tell Miley that I'm doing no T.V. for one year!!!!!!

My First Day

This isn't exactly my first day of watching no TV. It's actually been one whole month. My mom told me to do it. So far it's been going really well. My mom is also doing no TV for one whole year. She's going to take a knitting class. My dad is going to wear whatever my mom makes! (It's gonna be a sweater! One sleeve is going to be a foot longer than the other!!) While I do this I can read more, do more, and learn more. I even finished a 300 piece puzzle! I'm on my second puzzle. I can't wait until it ends because when I finish I get a cell-phone. I've already finished five novels. My mom has only finished...ZERO! I'm on my sixth novel now. The only time I can watch TV is during the holidays and movie night. At my house every Friday night is called movie night because we have dinner in our den and we watch a movie.

So please join me as often as you can. I post every Sunday. If something cool happens during the week, it will definitely be on here! Please post back, comment, and let me know what you're doing.

See ya soon!
